These terms apply when you use this website, run by Church of King Jesus ("the church", "we"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

Church of King Jesus is a South Carolina nonprofit religious corporation.

Using the site

You may use the site to learn about the church, to sign up for updates, to start a conversation about a gift of land, and, once donations open, to donate. Please:

• give true information in our forms, and send only your own contact details or details you have permission to share;
• not send Social Security numbers, bank details or financial documents through our forms;
• not try to get around the site's security or spam protection, overload it, or reach parts of it that are not meant for you;
• not use automated programs to send forms, and not use the site to send spam or anything unlawful, threatening or abusive.

We may block anyone who misuses the site.

Donations

Donations are governed by our Donation & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms. Payments are processed by Stripe on its own checkout page, under Stripe's terms.

Gifts of land and other property

Sending an inquiry about land or other property does not commit you or the church to anything. The church's Board of Directors reviews every gift of property before the church accepts it. The church never states a value for a gift of property on any acknowledgment; please consult your own tax advisor.

Our plans and images

The site describes plans for Sanctuaries that are not yet built. Plans, designs, places and timelines may change. Images marked as AI concept images are illustrations of an idea, not photographs of real buildings or places.

Our content

The words, images, designs and marks on this site belong to the church or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short passages with credit to the church. Please ask us before using anything else.

Other websites

Some links lead to services run by others, such as Stripe once donations open. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information; their own terms and policies apply.

No warranty

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the church, its directors and its volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

Governing law

South Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date; using the site after that means you accept the change.
